Although Peggy has a hand in every piece made at The Kilnworks, this series of plates remains special to her and bears her hand signature rather than The Kilnworks' stamp. Each is created of white earthenware and designed to hang or sit beautifully. If you're looking for a versatile piece of art that can double as a wall sculpture or table piece then a Caribbean Sun or Wave Plate is for you.
Using her own special palette of colors, Peggy swirls the glazes on the interior of these plates. The fire does the rest--uniquely capturing the Caribbean sea and sky on a permanent piece of island-made art.
